Dr. Diane Yendol-Hoppey was recently awarded the College of Education Alumni Excellence Award at the 2026 Penn State Alumni Society Awards.
The Alumni Excellence Award is the highest honor bestowed upon alumni of the College of Education. It recognizes career-long, sustained excellence of contributions and achievement in the nominee's chosen profession.
Yendol-Hoppey is a three-time Penn State graduate who has spent more than 25 years advancing teacher education through research, leadership and national service.
The award reflects a distinct dimension of impact that Yendol-Hoppey has made in the field of education, from lifelong service and institutional leadership to early-career promise.
